Drill Press

The drill press is used for making holes in softer materials like wood, plastic, MDF, etc. The workpiece is fixed in a vise clamped to the drill press table, and manually located for drilling. It is better than a drill because it makes perfectly vertical holes, but it is not as precise or strong as a mill. It can be used with drill bits, hole saws, and spade bits. The drill press should NOT be used with end mills, fly cutters, or any other cutting tools.
