Panel Saw

The panel saw is a large sliding saw that can be used to make straight cuts in large sheets or long lengths of material. When using the panel saw, the workpiece is placed against the bottom rest and the back structure, and the rotating circular saw mounted on rails is slid downward, cutting through the piece. It should only be used with materials that are relatively soft and thin. The panel saw is one of the least utilized machines in the shop. Think about it!
