This will be the presentation provided to the middle school students in January prior to them selecting their courses for next year.

What Should We Do First?

Suggestions before making Course Selections:

View Informative Course Selection Video
Counselors visit middle schools January 24th and 25th
After visit students and parents should complete the practice course selection sheet together
Counselors will return to assist students when entering courses into Schoolinks.
Parents attend the Counseling Zoom Q & A sessions on February 7th and 8th
Attend advising on middle school campuses if you would like to visit with a counselor
Enter questions into the Question form

How Will My Student Select Courses?

Course Selection Process:

1) Students will use the course selection sheet as a reference when completing their course selections online.

2) Fill out and submit their course selections via SchooLinks.

3) Students will have two opportunities to make changes to their course selections

What if I need help?

Google question form is available for parents to ask questions, ask your question and receive a response via email!

Can My Student Make Changes to Their Course Selection?

Yes! This is known as Course Verification. Students course selections will be available to view in the student portal during each of the dates below. Any changes that are made will not automatically update in the portal. Any changes will be visible in the portal prior to the next verification window.

#1 Verification: March 6th-10th
