Credit Recovery Options
If a student does not earn credit for a core course, they may earn the credit through one of the following options.
Edgenuity
Self-paced computer program available to 11th and 12th graders
Edge class offered during the school day that takes the place of an elective
Since it is self-paced, students can finish quickly depending how much time they commit. They may also work on the class at home (tests will need to be completed at school)
Credit by Exam
Students may take a UTHS credit by exam to recover the credit
Students will need to earn a 70 or higher
Students must discuss this option with their counselor, so they may complete the order for the test
Specific testing windows and specific time lines for counselors to order the test make this option time sensitive
Summer School
Students may take summer school to make up failed classes
