1) Schedule new students
2) Leveling classes to make class sizes more equitable
3) Requests from after April 18: We will review ONLY the level up requests. We will not review or make any elective changes. The level up requests will only be honored if there is space and it doesn't require multiple moves of classes.
4) Leveling down from an AP or advanced course that has an on-level option. The form for this will be available the week of September 15th.
Please understand that our master schedule and offerings are driven by students course selections. We offer the number of sections based off those selections.
What Is Happening?
12th Grade:
Senior Conferences will begin in early fall and be completed by end of January. This is a meeting with the student to discuss current credits and what is needed for graduation. They will be bringing a copy home and a copy will be emailed home to parents and students.
11th Grade:
Conferences will be completed by end of first semester. Counselors will meet one on one with students to complete a credit check and discuss graduation requirements and answer questions they may have. A credit check will be completed as well as identify what classes are needed for graduation, any credit recovery needs, STAAR test needs, etc.
10th Grade:
Conferences will be completed by end of first semester. Counselors will be meeting one on one with students to complete a credit check and discuss graduation requirements and answer any questions they may have.
