We have two software recommendations for recording and editing a podcast: Soundtrap for beginners and Adobe Audition for those who are more experienced and/or want more control. As you probably know, Clemson students and employees have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud for free. Adobe's audio editing program is Adobe Audition.
This part of the course will walk you through recording and editing in Soundtrap and/or Adobe Audition.
If you're not ready to edit your project yet, still click through these pages to get an idea of what is possible in Soundtrap/Audition. When you're ready to edit, come back to this part and walk through the steps with your recordings.
If you want to practice, but you don't have your own files: when you open Adobe Audition for the first time, it will walk you through a tutorial with practice files.

How old is your operating system? Mac users, you need at least macOS v10.13 or later. Check your operating system by clicking the apple icon in the top left corner of your screen, and going to "About this Mac". 10.13 is High Sierra. Other, newer versions that will work include Mojave and Catalina.
