When you are totally done editing your podcast, and you're ready to send it off, it’s time to export it. Most podcasts are rendered in the compressed MP3 format, to create smaller files.
Select File > Export > Multitrack Mixdown > Entire Session from the menu bar
Set the Format to MP3 audio (.mp3)
For now, leave everything else at the default settings and click OK.
Congrats! Your podcast is complete and you can find the file in your system Documents folder.
What happens if you want to share your editing project with a group member? Follow these directions to make sure your files are backed up properly and so that when you share, the files all transfer properly.
When you created a multitrack session earlier, Audition created a folder to hold all of your files - your project and your recordings. Find the folder that you saved your session to (we recommend Documents, but it might be in your Adobe folder).
You need to save/upload the whole project folder, NOT JUST the project file. In this case, drag “au_demo_1.24” to your USB drive. The “Recorded” folder holds the files that you recorded. If you don’t bring the folder, you won’t be able to edit later on your computer.
Sometimes it’s necessary to compress (zip) the folder - right click on the folder and select “Compress” or “Zip.”
Save the folder to your laptop or use the files as a back-up in case the server doesn’t work properly in the audio studio.
