- Make a new account with Soundtrap
Go to www.soundtrap.com
Click on Pricing in the top right corner. Scroll down to the gray “Free” box and click “Sign up!”
Sign up with any email address and log in.

The input refers to which microphone you're using to pick up sound
If you're working in the Adobe Digital Studio audio studio, you'll set the input to "Scarlett 4i4 USB"
If you're working at home, if you plug in another microphone, make sure that is selected. If you don't plug in another mic, you'll just use your default computer microphone

Each person should have their own microphone, set to their own track
If you're interviewing someone remotely (they're in a different location than you are), you can have them "call in" to your Soundtrap project. Click on the "Share" button in the top right corner, then create a guest call. You'll make a new track for them.

When you're done recording, hit the stop button.
