Hello, Pink Family! I’m Katie Hylden, and I’m very excited for another great year at Pink!
I graduated from Texas Tech in 2019, and I spent three years teaching Head Start (3’s & 4’s) in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This is my fourth year teaching here at Pink Elementary. Some of my favorite experiences so far have been working and spending time with my team, getting to know students and families, and exploring Frisco.
My husband works for the Dallas World Aquarium as a zoologist, which is what brought us back to his hometown (Frisco) four years ago. I look forward to all of the activities, events, and culture that Frisco holds, and most of all I look forward to the colleagues and families I will meet. I enjoy gardening, playing video games, and exploring culture and the community.
