Alpha Best runs an after school care here on our campus. You can find more information online. They run independently and therefore not affiliated with Frisco ISD. 

You are welcome to  send  healthy snacks with your child. You may also send water ONLY to drink. 

Parents can purchase addition or subtraction flashcards to practice solving in their head.  You can also go online to different math websites on our helpful website tab to practice as well.  You can also  make your own flash cards using index cards.

Your child's lunch account can be maintained at wwwschoolcafe.org. This is a website affiliated with Frisco ISD and parents my log on and add money with their VISA or Mastercard for their child's account. You may put restrictions on your child's purchases and even view what they are purchasing on a daily basis. You will need your child's student ID number, which will be available from your child's teacher or the office at the beginning of the school year.

GMP stands for Good Morning Pink. It is a time for us to celebrate and show our Pink pride once a month as a whole school. You can look on Pink's website calendar for dates or contact your child's teacher. (Good Morning Pink starts around 8:00 am and lasts about 1 hour.)

Parents and guests are welcome to attend GMP.  For the safety of our students and staff, visitors must enter the front entry doors to sign-in and receive a badge. Once signed in, visitors may stand on the sides or back of the cafeteria while students sit with their class.

If your child will be going home in any manner out of the ordinary, please email to your child’s teacher by noon.

Calls made to the office for last-minute dismissal changes will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. (After this time, we can’t guarantee that students will get this information.)

Please send a parent or doctor's note explaining the reason for your child's absence. If written documentation is not received within three days of your child's return to school, the absence will be marked as unexcused.

Birthdays are a very special time for young children.  The Frisco ISD School Advisory Council has recommended that as a district we continue to celebrate birthdays, but discontinue the food component of the celebration.  The concerns for student health have increased, with the issue of children and allergic reactions to certain foods/food ingredients growing in particular.  The treats parents are providing come from many sources and there is no real control regarding ingredients and/or the processing of the treats.

As Pink Elementary, we will offer students the opportunity to purchase a book for our library with a special nameplate attached, announce birthdays during morning announcements, and allow students to come to the office on the day of their birthday for a pencil, sticker, and birthday spirit stick. If your child has a summer birthday we will celebrate their birthday towards the end of the school year.

On Meet the Teacher Night there will be shirts available for purchase in the cafeteria.  There will also be a form going home at the beginning of school for you to purchase t-shirts.  Anyone in the front office would be glad to assist you with purchasing of a t-shirt as well.
