Kindergarten will dismiss on the side of the school by POD 1(east side) doors. For the safety of our students we do ask for the following:
Please stay in your car.
Do not reverse your car or try to go around the car in front of you. Please wait for the cars to pull away first.
Please do not call your student to the car. A teacher must escort your student to the car first.
Please be patient the first few weeks. It takes a bit of time to learn cars and procedures, but we promise it will get quicker.
Always have your car tag.
3rd lane is a moving lane. Please do not stop in the 3rd outer lane. Think of it like an airport!
Younger siblings will go to older sibling and dismiss with them.
Visit Frisco ISD's Gifted Education page for more information.
If your child is absent from school, please contact the school by:
Clicking on the "Report an Absence" button at the top right of the homepage on Pink's website.
Contact your child's teacher by email to let us know they will not be at school that day.
Please send a parent or doctor's note explaining the reason for your child's absence. If written documentation is not received within three days of your child's return to school, the absence will be marked as unexcused.

GMP stands for Good Morning Pink. It is a time for us to celebrate and show our Pink pride once a month as a whole school. You can look on Pink's website calendar for dates or contact your child's teacher. (Good Morning Pink starts around 8:00 am and lasts about 1 hour.)
Parents and guests are welcome to attend GMP. For the safety of our students and staff, visitors must enter the front entry doors to sign-in and receive a badge. Once signed in, visitors may stand on the sides or back of the cafeteria while students sit with their class.
* Please make sure once GMP is over you wave goodbye and leave quickly as our little ones still have a hard time saying goodbye to mommies and daddies.

If your child will be going home in any manner out of the ordinary, please email to your child’s teacher by noon of that day or in his/her daily notebook.
Calls made to the office for last-minute dismissal changes will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. (After this time, we can’t guarantee that students will get this information.)
Please remember: For your child’s safety, students will only be released to an authorized adult documented on your registration forms.
Birthdays are a very special time for young children. The Frisco ISD School Advisory Council has recommended that as a district we continue to celebrate birthdays, but discontinue the food component of the celebration. The concerns for student health have increased, with the issue of children and allergic reactions to certain foods/food ingredients growing in particular. The treats parents are providing come from many sources and there is no real control regarding ingredients and/or the processing of the treats.
As Pink Elementary, we will announce birthdays during morning announcements, and students get a pencil, sticker, and a birthday treat from their teacher. If your child has a summer birthday we will celebrate their birthday towards the end of the school year.
On Meet the Teacher Night there will be shirts available for purchase in the cafeteria. There will also be a form going home at the beginning of school for you to purchase t-shirts.
