A contract change is any amendment that needs to happen for example a new job title or to change a contract end date
Once a member of your team hands in their notice please follow this process to ensure their pay is correct
For HR to set up a new starter they need the correct right to work the most common are a passport on its own or full birth certificate with proof of national insurance. Ideally please scan the document to HR. Click below to view the full list of acceptable documents.
Due to legislative changes linked to brexit, From 1st July for non-UK citizens (excluding Ireland) we can't accept an EU passport as a sufficient right to work document for potential new hires. We must require proof of their immigration status which could be:
Showing their original visa/immigration documents proving their immigration status
Provide their DOB and a 'share code' from the gov.uk website that can be used to check their immigration status online here
For those with a UK passport or Irish passport, this is still a legitimate right to work document. it is only those without a UK & Irish passport that applies to.
