Testing

Throughout the year, 9-11th grade students will take various required state tests. Below are the explanations of tests taken in 9th and 10th grade. Use the above testing tab to access PSAT, ACT/SAT and AP Testing information.

A C T Aspire

The ACT Aspire is:

  • An exam that measures what students have learned in the areas of English, Math, Science and Writing

  • An exam that can predict how a student will perform on the ACT during 11th grade

Q: Who takes the ACT Aspire?

A: At Fort Atkinson High School, the ACT Aspire is taken by 9th & 10th graders.

Q: When is the ACT Aspire given?

A: Aspire dates are dictated by the WI Department of Instruction and are usually held in mid-Spring.

FORWARD EXAM

The FORWARD exam is a state required exam given to 10th grade students at the high school. The exam measures what the students have learned in the area of social studies.
