Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great spring break. We have had a busy year, and our students have worked very hard to prepare for milestones next week. A few reminders for our students as they prepare their minds and bodies for test day: prepare your clothes and backpacks the night before, get a good night's sleep, and eat a healthy breakfast so that your brain is ready to go on test day. Help them develop a positive mindset by talking about how hard they’ve worked this year and encourage them to be kind and talk positively to themselves. Most importantly, remind them that while milestones are important and we want them to do their best, the scores they get will not define who they are. The people who make and score these tests don't know our students like we do. They don’t know that they are kind to others and can make others smile. They don’t know that some of them are so smart that they can speak two languages or that they are thoughtful and trustworthy. No matter how they do, their teachers love them for the hard work they have put in all year long, and we are so proud of them. Take care of yourselves this weekend, and please reach out if there is anything I can do to support you and your students!
