The purpose of the “FNMI Student Advisory Team” is to gather FNMI student opinions and advice about current trends and issues in Education. We share with our Trustees, who attend our meetings. We gather to explore and discuss school based issues, from Indigenous students, with a solution based mindset. We will honor, practice, preserve and celebrate indigenous culture, stories, traditions, and history. This council also allows for Trustees and educators to consider the students’ input important in helping them to make informed decisions.
