Guitar Class

Guitar is an opportunity for any student wishing to learn to play guitar.  The main focus of the course is teaching students how to read music and play in a small group.  Although this class is designed for beginners, students with a musical background are welcome to enroll.

Guitar Class is for students interested in learning to play the guitar.  Although students with a background in music are welcome, the course is designed for beginning musicians.  Content includes learning to read basic music notation both melodic and rhythmic, playing small groups.  Groups maybe duets (two players), trios (three players), and quartets (four players).  Playing test are the more common form of assessment but written tests will be included.
