Concert Band

The Concert Band is exclusively for freshmen.  By practicing among peers in their grade, these freshmen will be able to develop their abilities for higher level band music.  It is also an opportunity for members to develop leadership skills that may help them not only in the selection for leadership positions within the Concert Band but also, throughout the Band Program.  Leadership positions include but are not limited to Section Leader, Freshmen Representative, and Librarian.  Prior music experience is important but not required.  All the concert bands go to music festivals in the spring where they are evaluated by a panel of adjudicators.
