Caution: Make sure you have auto-save on your TAC or SAVE frequently. After you enter all grades, hit Save. It may not look like anything is happening for a little bit and could be perceived as frozen. You must wait for it to "refresh" on its own for it to be officially saved and then you can click on the button for "Return to View Test Scores page". If you click on the button before it saves/refreshes, you could lose everything but it does warn you that it has not saved yet if you do click on the button.

NEW THIS YEAR - MSDE is now counting eligibility for articulated college credit for CCR, and Perkins for most programs.
We get Credit (for data collection purposes) for everyone who met the requirements for articulated credit whether or not they intent to submit the articulation agreement forms.
Please enter the data for all semester 1 or 2 students who meet the criteria

Business Teachers
If the course you taught is a MOS course or CIS dual enrollment, enter the data under Bus. Admin college credit.
If the course is Acct 2 or ACCT dual enrollment, enter it under Finance college credit, and
If the course is a dual enrollment Man and Ent. select Bus. Management.
MOS Classes - Additional Information
Because this data is collected to share with MSDE for CCR, and Perkins, and they are only looking for completion of Excel and Word, you no longer need to enter data for Power Point, Access and Outlook. We still have the data through Certaport and students still receive industry certification, we just don't need to report that information to the state. IF the student also passed excel or word, you also do not need to enter them under Expert excel or word because they will already be counted for MSDE's purposes.
PLTW
Enter the data when you get it.
Also, there are new Industry Certification options for PLTW Engineering. This was a surprise to me but we can now offer PLTW students the Revit and/or AutoCAD certifications as well. I don't know if any of you have your students take these exams but in case you do, we added them to our pull down menu in TAC. You would enter the data the same way you did for students earning college credit.
Child Development
MSDE is now recognizing the 90 hour certification again for Perkins, ESSA and CCR.
Computer Science
New this year for Computer Science teachers, MSDE is now counting eligibility for articulated college credit for College and Career Readiness, and Perkins. Since we have an articulated agreement with Hood for Foundations of Computer Science, we get credit for data collection purposes for everyone who took that course and earned a B or better whether or not they intent to submit the articulation agreement
