Salaries are determined by:
verified education.
verified experience.
certifications/licensures as indicated in the FCPS Salary Schedule.
All hourly employees must...
record their worktime accurately in Time and Attendance.
clock in and out of Time and Attendance. No other person is allowed to clock time on behalf of the employee.
adhere to their work hours and work calendar unless prior approval from an administrator with the authority to grant the exception is given.
have prior approval to flex time during the work week (12:01am Saturday through 12 midnight on Friday).
take a minimum of 30 minutes for a duty-free lunch break at approximately mid-day.
Lunches may not occur at the beginning or end of the work day.
Lunches may not be skipped.
Lunches should be taken away from the work area (i.e., desk, office).
not volunteer their services. They must be paid for any work similar to the work for which they are contracted with the district.
not work remotely without prior approval from an administrator with the authority to grant the exception.
Employees receive an annual salary notice and mock check to confirm salary set up, education, experience, tenure/job rights, and certifiations.
