New Teacher Induction Program

Fayette County Public Schools is committed to providing support for our new teachers through the established New Teacher Induction Program (NTIP). FCPS' Office of Human Resources established the New Teacher Induction program in partnership with the Fayette County Education Association, district and school level staff, and administrators. 

New Teacher Induction Program processes are non-evaluative and for support only. NTIP provides mentoring and ongoing professional learning for all first through second year teachers, and experienced teachers who are new to FCPS. The program includes individual and face-to-face mentoring, shadowing opportunities, and support check-in from school instructional leaders.
