The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (14-8, 5-6 CC) gets set for a crucial stretch as the Diplomats play their final two home games of the 2024-25 regular season this week. F&M hosts Team Impact Night when it welcomes Muhlenberg (14-7, 5-6 CC) to the Mayser Center on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The Diplomats then celebrate Senior Day when it plays No. 18 Johns Hopkins (18-3, 10-1 CC) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
Before Saturday's game against the Blue Jays, the F&M women's basketball team honors its five seniors in a pregame ceremony. Those senior include Molly Flanagan, Quinn Galligan, Ally Trebelev, Leila Walton and Kennedy Wilburn.
Last Week
The Diplomats defeated Bryn Mawr, 56-43, on the road last Saturday. F&M led by as much as 16 in the first half, but a third quarter surge from the Owls got Bryn Mawr within eight of the Diplomats entering the final quarter. Bryn Mawr made it a seven-point game with six minutes remaining in regulation, but a late run from the Diplomats extended the lead back to 15 as F&M extended its winning streak over the Owls to 30. Last Time vs. Muhlenberg
Franklin & Marshall was downed by Muhlenberg, 56-45, during its last matchup in the 2023-24 season. The Diplomats trailed by as much as 16 in the third quarter when they started chipping away at the Mules' lead. A three-pointer from Hope Schreiber '24 cut the deficit to six with 1:52 remaining in regulation, but that would be the final bucket in the game for F&M. Jaclyn Feit '24 finished the game two rebounds short of a double-double with 11 points and eight boards in the contest. Last Time vs. Johns Hopkins
In the Diplomats' 79-42 loss at Johns Hopkins last month, F&M started the game on a cold stretch to put itself in a hole early. However, the Diplomats battled back to cut the Blue Jays' lead to single digits late in the second quarter. However, JHU grew its lead in the second half to defeat F&M in the contest. Neville and Trebelev finished the game with 10 points each. Neville scored six points at the free throw line, while Trebelev sank two three-pointers in the loss. Muhlenberg is currently on a two-game losing streak entering Wednesday's game. The Mules defeated Haverford and Swarthmore, before falling to Dickinson and Gettysburg last week. Veronica Dawson leads the team in points, averaging 11.9 per game, while shooting 40.6 percent from the field. Dawson is also the teams leading rebounder, averaging 6.9 boards per contest. Katie McGrath trails, averaging 11.3 points per game and 2.6 assists per contest.

Ranked No. 18 in the national polls, Johns Hopkins is currently on a nine-game winning streak with its last loss coming against Gettysburg on January 11. Before the Blue Jays come to Lancaster on Saturday, JHU heads to Westminster, Maryland on Wednesday to face McDaniel at 6:00 p.m. The Blue Jays currently present the No. 1 scoring offense in the Centennial, averaging 70.9 points per game.
