The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (13-8, 4-6 CC) looks to snap a two-game losing streak when it travels to play Bryn Mawr (7-13, 0-10 CC) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Last Week

The Diplomats were defeated in both of its Centennial Conference (CC) games last week. In F&M's 61-48 loss to Washington College, the Diplomats got off to a slow start to trail by 10 in the first quarter. The Diplomats kept within striking distance throughout the game, cutting the deficit to five in the fourth quarter. However, Washington College took over late in the frame as the visitors grew their lead to as much as 16 in the closing minutes. Lizzie Neville led F&M with 11 points, while Ally Trebelev recorded 10 points in the contest. Kennedy Wilburn ended her night with eight points and eight rebounds. Read the full recap here. 

Franklin & Marshall fought hard in Saturday's 68-61 loss to McDaniel. The Diplomats shot 47.2 percent (25-of-53) from the field in the game, but McDaniel controlled the boards with 42 total in the contest. The Green Terror also used 19 offensive-rebounds for 23 second-chance points in their victory. Neville registered a game-high 23 points, while Wilburn notched a career-high 22 points in the game. Last Time vs. Bryn Mawr

The Diplomats cruised to a 72-32 routing of Bryn Mawr last season, where F&M shot 41.4 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc. Neville led F&M in scoring with 17 points, while shooting 60 percent from the field. Neville also led the team with three steals in the win. Nine different Diplomats contributed to F&M's 13 steals in the game. Along with Neville, Jaclyn Feit '24 also finished the game with double-digit scoring figures with 15 points and five rebounds in the victory. Read the full recap here. 

Bryn Mawr Team Preview

Bryn Mawr is currently on an 11-game losing streak with its most recent loss coming against Ursinus, 72-43, Wednesday evening. The Owls are led by Jessica Smith, who averages 15.6 points per game and seven rebounds per game. Smith is also shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 82.1 percent from the free throw line this season.
