Dr. Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship
The Dr. Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship Fund provides funding to undergraduate students pursuing biomedical engineering or pre-medical degrees. The Fund supports the vision of FIRST to transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders. By selecting students who have excelled in a FIRST program, the Fund seeks to honor the legacy of Dr. Bart Kamen by providing renewable monetary grants to undergraduate students who have, through their participation in FIRST programs, demonstrated the potential to develop Dr. Kamen’s brilliance at, and extraordinary passion for, improving the lives of patients.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship
Graduating high school seniors as well as students pursuing two-year, four-year or graduate degrees in manufacturing or engineering are eligible to apply for scholarships. In the past two years, the Foundation awarded a record number of scholarships to women and minorities as part of a new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative.

Springfield Foundation Scholarships
We know pursuing higher educational goals presents many challenges. With this in mind, our generous donors have created over 140 different scholarship opportunities to support your academic journey. These scholarships may be used toward the cost of attendance (tuition or any course-related requirements, etc) at accredited U.S. institutions.
Provided sufficient income is available, each year’s award amount will be determined by the Springfield Foundation Scholarship Committee. Award may be applied toward tuition, fees, books, and other related expenses.

The scholarships are administered by the Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO), a non-profit educational foundation dedicated to the advancement of engineering education in cooperation with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE).

McDonalds HACER National Scholarship
The McDonald's HACER National Scholarship Program will offer scholarships to up to 30 outstanding Hispanic students from all over the country. Funds are aimed to help recipients finance their college tuition. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement, personal statement and financial need.

The Vegetarian Resource Group each year will award $20,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities.

WPAFB Officers' Spouses' Club Scholarship
Eligible applicants include dependent children and spouses of local active duty, retired, deceased, POW/MIA, or international military members. Both the applicant and service member must reside within 100 miles of Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Applicants will be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college, university or technical school during the 2025-26 academic year with at least one full-time semester/quarter of credit hours remaining before graduation.
