Period poverty can have a significant impact on young people’s wellbeing, confidence and ability to fully participate in school life. At Braes High School, we are committed to ensuring that no pupil’s education is affected by a lack of access to period products.
We recognise that periods are a normal part of life and that accessing essential products should never be a source of stress, embarrassment or financial pressure.
Free period products are available within the school, and we continue to promote awareness, reduce stigma and encourage open conversations around menstrual health. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, we aim to ensure that every young person can attend school comfortably, confidently and ready to learn.
Have you been wondering how easy it is to collect your free reusable and disposable period products from any local library? Well, no need to wonder any longer!
Our reps have made a video showing you just how simple it is 🙂
