HI!  My name is Kaycie Huffman and I am so excited to be a part of the Scott family! I have been teaching in EVSC for 8 years. For 7 years I taught kindergarten at Fairlawn Elementary and one year here at Scott. I graduated from USI with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education. 

I have been happily married to my husband, Tyler, for 11 years and we have 2 beautiful girls, Josie (9) and Norah (5). In my spare time I love all sports, Go IU and Roll Tide! I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family and we love to camp! I am excited to continue my journey as a kindergarten teacher at Scott! GO TIGERS!

I love being a part of the Kindergarten family at Scott School. I am an Evansville native, but I went to Indiana State University, where I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I taught for 4 years in Clay Community Schools before getting the opportunity to stay home with my children.  I was so blessed to be able to begin my career again a few years ago and join all of my children as a Scott Tiger.  

Our oldest, Jackson, is starting high school this year at North, while Hudson is in 8th grade, Harrison is in 5th, and Addison is in 3rd.

My husband (JD) and I love living and being a part of the north side. We stay busy running our kids to basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, and piano.  We also love hanging out at the pool and traveling.   We love going to the beach and Disney.

I can’t wait to meet all of my students and families.
