Hello! My name is Katie Conley, and I am a proud graduate of the University of Evansville. For over four years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students across various grade levels and schools within the EVSC. Working with children is something I truly love.
As a North High School graduate, I’ve spent my entire life in Evansville, growing up on the north side, and I’ll always be a proud Husky! In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family, especially bonding with my adorable new niece. I also love attending my brother’s football, basketball, and baseball games. As a big animal lover, I have three cats—Lily, Spots, and Bryzzo—and a dog named Riley.
I am thrilled to meet and get to know each student and join the Scott Elementary School family!
Hello Tigers!
My name is Jordyn Meyer and this will be my second year with Scott Elementary. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in the fall of 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math. After graduating, I was hired with the EVSC as a Kindergarten teacher at Hebron Elementary, but then moved to 4th and 5th grade Art the following year. After moving to Scott, I taught 6th grade ELA and Social Studies. The 2022-2023 school year will be my first year in 3rd Grade and I am ready for this new adventure!
Outside of school, my favorite hobby is dancing. Since a young age, I have been involved with various dance groups both as a dancer and as a coach. I co-coached an elementary school Pom-Pom team for eight years and then moved to creating the first dance team at Hebron Elementary. Besides dance, my hobbies include watching and playing various sports such as basketball, tennis, and football. Go Colts!
My goal for this year is to create a fun, welcoming classroom environment where your student can thrive academically. I look forward to having a great year! Go Tigers!
Hi there! My name is Bethanne Minahan, and this will be my third year as a Scott Tiger! I am a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Math Education.
I have taught 2nd grade at Scott for the past two years, and I am so excited to transition to teaching 3rd grade this year!
My husband, Patrick, and I have been married for two years and are the proud parents of two kittens--Muffin and Birdie! When I’m not at school, you can usually find me going out for coffee, watching the Packers play, or spending time with friends and family. I am so thankful for the opportunity to daily invest in the lives of children, and I'm looking forward to another great school year!
