Welcome to 6th Grade! My name is Matt Cole. My wife and I will be celebrating our 19 wedding anniversary on August 2nd 2022 . We have two children, Drew and Madalyn. Drew is 10 years old and Madalyn is 12 years old. In my free time, I really enjoy coaching and playing golf and tennis.

This is my 24th year teaching for the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation. I have taught at Tekoppel, West Terrace and Scott Elementary. I have been fortunate to have many teaching experiences throughout my 24 years of teaching. 

This will be my 19th year teaching at Scott Elementary School.  It's a great place to learn and develop friendships.  I know this will be a great year for your child.

Hello! My name is Shianne Lockhart! I teach 6th grade ELA and Social Studies here at Scott. I graduated from USI in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I also have 5 years of experience working with children who have ASD, SPD, and behavioral challenges. I have 2 young boys and have been married for 8 years! I’m originally from Louisiana, so GO TIGERS! 

Welcome to sixth grade! We work hard and play hard!  

I teach 6th grade ELA, math and science.  I love teaching sixth grade and working with this age!   This is the last year for 6th grade students at Scott School,so it is a very special time.  I am always sad to see them leave for North Junior High, but I love it when they come back and visit.

​All work in my class is listed on Google Classroom so students AND parents can stay up-to-date on what is going on in the classroom.  Students are expected to check Google Classroom for assignments they will need to make-up when absent.
