Welcome to second grade! This is an exciting year for our students. I look forward to working with all of my students and families this coming year!
Here is a little information about myself: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Southern Indiana, along with a Kindergarten Endorsement. My Master's degree is from Oakland City University. I am licensed in Elementary Education, Special Education, School Administration, and Kindergarten. During my teaching career, I have taught students in grades 2-5 and special education.
I am from Evansville and actually attended Scott as a student! My husband Todd and I have three children. Griffin is a sophomore at North High School, Lucy is an eighth grader at North Jr. High School, and Grant is a third grader at Scott! Some of my favorite hobbies include: spending time with my family, playing with my dog, cooking, reading, and swimming. I am thrilled to continue teaching at Scott-Home of the Tigers!
Hi! My name is Malleo Orcutt, and I look forward to working with you and your child as they become independent readers and great mathematicians! I have been blessed with being an EVSC teacher since 1999. I have a Master's in Elementary Education, and am also licensed to teach Deaf Education and Special Education. My husband, Shad, and I have 3 beautiful daughters. Some things I really enjoy doing are watching my daughters' play sports, camping, and reading a really good book! This year, I hope to instill and nurture a love of learning in students by creating a classroom culture where they feel accepted and valued as individuals.
