Every lesson starts with the register. It is pretty straightforward. Login, click on Registrations - period registration (secondary) or am/pm registration (primary). The number on the top of the list (the period number) allows you to fill them all in in one go.
To create a list of children whose parents have not given permission for photographs/web/press/school trips please do the following:
Click on pupil finder
Select your class
Open the "Further Information" menu further information (found lower down the left hand menu)
There is a drop down menu again consent type - select consent withdrawn.
Click lists and reports
Select Fire register and generate report
This will provide you with a list of children in your class that do have permission for photos to be published
Often parents have given photo consent for internal use but not consent for video/press. Producing this list will indicate the children you have to be aware of. For publication on the website, we need the approval first, not later. When sending photos for the newsletter/website to Sophie or Sue, please make sure you either check or send the names of the children with the picture so we can do so.
Click on pupil finder
Select your class
Click on reports on the right top
Click on the filter and select "All" (see screenshot below)
Find "Photos pupils"
Click on Generate report at the bottom
Open the pupil finder, filter the group you want to use (form for classes), check that all are selected (29/29 of the class in the picture), click on communicate on the right top, then the menu will appear. Click on Email Parents (or staff, e.g.).
Then, fill in the from, subject and message. For fancy lay-out, create a document, save it as pdf (which can be read on any computer/phone/tablet), and attach with the attach button. Please don't use the summary e-mail.
You can check in the pupil record whether an email has been sent. General - communication
Then click on Email to see all the emails sent to the parents or student.
Sometimes you need to create a group over different year groups. Click on Tags at the right top in the pupil finder, give your tag a name and create it. Then you can filter for pupils and simply add them. After you are finished you can filter for this group on the left below school.
In order to print labels of children's names:
