How to scan

Before going to the printer, do on your computer at school:

• open a browser

• type the IP address in the browser

• click on "box"

• create a user box

• choose a password if you deal with sensitive information, otherwise you don't need to

• Go to the printer

• Click on the "Menu" button

• Click on User Box

• Select your user box (or a random one without a lock, just remember which one)

• put your documents in the feeder

• click on "save"

• Select 2 sided if your document has 2 sides, check the other settings to see if they are what you want).

• click on the print button (the big one that you also use for copying)

• Take your documents away

• Go to your computer and type the ip address of the printer in the browser

• click on "box"

• click on your box (or where you saved the document to)

• click on download

• be patient

• click on download again

• and you now have the document on your computer
