PSAT/NMSQT

REGISTRATION

The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test / National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a practice exam for the SAT offered to 10th and 11th graders with the potential to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program in addition to substantial scholarships at different colleges.

Due to limited space with COVID-19 social distancing requirements and safety precautions, MBTA will be conducting the PSAT/NMSQT on October 26, 2021 on Oahu with neighbor island details forthcoming.

The PSAT is available for students in grades 10-11. Juniors who earn a high score are eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Scholarship. For more information about the National Merit Scholarship Program, check out this site: www.nationalmerit.org The cost of the test is $18.00, payable by cash or check to MBTA. Arrangements to secure a spot at a nearby testing location for neighbor island students will be made to best of our ability.

First Priority: MBTA Juniors

Second Priority: MBTA Sophomores
