How to set up Professional Development Sessions:
For Head Start and Early Head Start, professional development sessions must be created for one of two reasons.
If a certificate is needed for the attendees. This could be for professional development on or off site.
If a room needs to be reserved for professional development, training, or a meeting.
If both a room and a certificate is needed.
If utilizing the following rooms, HS/EHS will be charged to use the rooms. It is important to determine the size of room needed. Please don't reserve rooms bigger than needed due to the fees.
TOT A, TOT B, Alamo, Armadillo, and Blue Bonnet.
The following rooms can be used at no charge but reservations must be made on the Head Start Share in the folder titled MEETING ROOMS.
Fiesta and West Wing Conference rooms.
ESC Works is the system utilized for all sessions.
Please consult your supervisor/coordinator prior to submitting any onsite training requests.
Contact Janet Tickner to determine if the room needed is available. Click here to email Janet. or call 806-677-5421.
Once room is determined, complete the EHS/HS Training Request Form. The earlier this is received, the more likely the room will still be available.
The day of the onsite training, Janet will provide the sign in sheet.
The Administrative Assistant for the content area will get donuts and work the sign in table.
Sign in sheets and agenda need to be turned in to Janet at the end of the day for attendees to get training credit.
All items on this form must be completed for the room to be reserved.
