In class we have been learning about symmetry and revising telling the time. Outdoors, we applied our learning to outdoor challenges. In the nature garden we were challenged to create a symmetrical picture. In the playground, we had to work with a partner to make o'clock and half past times using chalk and our bodies.Â
We have been working hard on writing independently in P1. As a class we share ideas and create a class story map which we then copy into our jotters.Â
For our morning tasks, we have been having a go at using Mrs Wallace's words of the day to write our own sentences.
We have been working with a partner outdoors to demonstrate our knowledge of number lines. We used chalk to draw a number line to 20, then played addition and subtraction games with our partner. We also created hopscotch grids to play games with our partner.
We visited the Museum of Rural Life for our P1 trip. It was a fantastic day out! Here are some pictures of our farm fun!
