Achievements

Mearns Primary Nursery Class are very proud to have achieved a Family Centred Gold Award. This was the culmination of great efforts by our children, parents and staff and indicates the strong, positive relationships that make our nursery class so special.

Mrs. Aitken and Mrs. Zaheer have achieved Froebel awards and lead Froebelian practice across the nursery. We have a particular interest in the natural world and value the benefits it brings to our young learners and this is being extended by the team staff training on Outdoor Kindergarten approaches.
