Knowledge and Employability (K&E)
(80 credits)
These courses are designed to support students and prepare them for the working world. All courses within the program have real-world applications and may include a job-shadowing and/or work-experience component. Our focus is on developing the functional skills (reading, writing and numeracy) and job-related abilities necessary to become an ethical and active citizen. Academic supports in the program include reduced class sizes, close monitoring of programming needs and increased in-and-out-of-class support. Students may work toward transitioning into mainstream courses depending on their ability, achievement and strengths. Students who successfully complete these courses earn credits toward a Certificate of Achievement
