Physical Education
We are very proud of Eastglen's Athletics and Physical Education programming. We offer several sports, including: volleyball, basketball, indoor soccer, outdoor soccer, badminton, cross country, track, and handball. We also have a newly renovated fitness centre open with drop in opportunities for students after school. Our Blue Devils teams continue to excel and make us very proud, including multiple recent City Champion teams.
In Physical Education, we love when students continue beyond PE 10 and take our 20 & 30 levelled courses, which provide several opportunities for students to attend field trips and try new activities, like Jiu Jitsu, Rock Climbing, Bowling, Fencing, and more. Outside of traditional Physical Education, we also offer Sports Performance, which focuses on athletic training, fitness, nutrition, and sports psychology. Additionally, new for this upcoming year, we will be offering a Soccer specific Sports Performance option.
