A major operational win this year was transitioning HB 1416 documentation from Panorama to Eduphoria, resulting in significant cost savings and streamlined workflows for campuses. By leveraging a system already supported districtwide, we improved user experience and strengthened compliance. Collaboration with IT, SPAA, and PEIMS ensured a smooth implementation, while documentation in Acadesk provided leadership with clear visibility into the rollout.
The redesign of our district RTI framework provided campuses with clearer guidance, stronger alignment to district priorities, and a more unified approach to supporting student needs. This work included developing a comprehensive RTI Handbook, designed to standardize expectations, procedures, and resources across all schools. Input from the Whole Learner, Special Education, and Counseling teams ensured the framework addressed the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of all learners.
Integration of MAP assessments with IXL personalized learning pathways significantly strengthened K–8 instructional alignment and maximized the use of existing district resources. By shifting away from the i-Ready diagnostic platform, the district realized cost savings while improving the precision of individualized learning plans for students. This process enabled teachers to assign targeted skill development based directly on MAP data, enhancing differentiation and accelerating student progress.
The development of the 2025–2026 Intervention Handbook established a clear, districtwide blueprint for K–8 intervention practices, aligning instructional expectations, resources, and procedures to support struggling learners. The handbook provides interventionists with explicit guidance on roles and responsibilities, WIN time structures, research-based instructional models, and required assessment windows, ensuring consistency across campuses. It includes detailed components such as the district’s tiered resources chart, WIN Time guidelines, interventionist lesson cycle, and HB 1416 requirements, offering a comprehensive and practical toolkit for staff. By organizing and standardizing these systems, the handbook strengthens intervention fidelity, supports data-driven practice, and helps campuses deliver responsive, targeted instruction that accelerates student growth.
The creation of the district’s 2025–2026 RTI Handbook modernized and unified the district’s multi-tiered system of supports, providing campuses with a coherent, user-friendly guide to implementing RTI with fidelity. The handbook clearly outlines the mission and vision for RTI, defines the essential components of the RTI process, and establishes team structures, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a consistent, collaborative approach across schools. It also includes structured procedures for student identification, intervention planning, monitoring, and evaluation, along with detailed expectations, monthly planning guides, and tiering descriptors. By compiling these systems into a single, streamlined resource, the RTI Handbook strengthens district alignment, supports compliance, and equips educators with the tools needed to provide timely, effective interventions to students.
