LEARNING SUPPORT
At EMS, the AIM Department collaborates with teachers, students, and families to help every learner reach their full potential.
Our primary goal is to support students by adapting instruction, curriculum, and assessment to meet the individual needs of each student. We understand that our learners come from diverse cultural backgrounds and may have different levels of English language proficiency.
Support is provided through a combination of in-class assistance, small-group work, and one-on-one sessions. These approaches help students build confidence and develop essential 21st-century skills, enabling them to engage with the mainstream curriculum fully.
Inclusion means placing the learner at the center. Every student has something valuable to contribute, a unique path of growth, and a personal connection to the learning process.
AIM Coordinator
Lower Primary
Hi! I'm Ms Emma, the Lower Primary AIM Coordinator here at EMS, working mainly with our wonderful Year 2 and 3 students. I'm originally from Manchester, England, but I've been lucky to call Qatar home for the past 29 years, and I love it!
I studied International Business Management and Early Years Education, and this year marks my 18th year of teaching and my 13th year at EMS. Teaching is truly my passion, and I especially enjoy helping children learn in fun, creative and engaging ways.
I'm excited to be part of the AIM team. I believe every child learns in their unique way and at their own pace, and I'm dedicated to supporting each learner on their journey. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year working together with students, parents, and teachers to help our children thrive in a kind and supportive environment.
Rest assured, the AIM team is fully committed to assisting you in every possible way!

Welcome to the new academic year. My name is Michelle Padayachee and I am the new Upper AIM coordinator. I will be working with years 4,5 and 6. I believe in the power of collaboration—among students, teachers, and the wider school community—to make education a transformative and enriching journey. I am very excited to see how our AIM students progress this year. Your dedication and support are key to their growth and success and I am looking forward to working with you, your child and their teacher.
