Although Governer Abbott has rescinded the state-wide mask mandate, the Texas Education Agency has determined that it will remain effect in schools.
All Elgin ISD campuses and departments require that masks be worn by adults. While our campus is closed to visitors, there are times when you may find yourself in our building. It may be to drop off a tardy child or bring a change of clothes or pick up your child when they become ill. Whatever the reason, if you are on school grounds and must get out of your car, a mask is required. Our scholars are doing a wonderful job following this expectation and we need your support and participation to help keep our school open.
Communities In Schools of Central Texas believes that each student deserves every opportunity to succeed in school. We are a private nonprofit agency located on your child’s campus to help students learn, stay in school, and prepare for a successful life. Communities In Schools works in cooperation with the school, which often refers students to us. We serve students who would benefit from extra attention. Our mission is to empower students to achieve, both in school and in the future
Parents, teachers, school staff, and students themselves may request free, voluntary, and confidential Communities In Schools services.
