It is great being back in the instructional routine! We have had a few more students join us for In Person instruction and now have about 65% of our students in the building. If your child is still participating remotely, and you would like for him or her to return, the next phase will begin on March 29th and the deadline to make a request is March 5th.
If your child was participating in person and you would now like for them to be a remote learner, please contact Sarah Farias at sarah.farias@elginisd.net so that your child's information can be updated.
Also, if your children are In Person learners and they stay home for any reason, they may still participate in their Google Classroom from home and not be counted absent.
On January 25th, we will begin Rapid Antigen Testing for COVID. This is available only for students who are symptomatic and are in person learners. It is not required, however, we are sending permission forms home next week with all in person learners. If you'd like to give permission for your child to receive the test when they are having COVID-like symptoms, please complete the permission form and send it back to school.
Only symptomatic students with parent permission forms on file will be tested.
No Name-Calling Week is a celebration of kindness and encourages discussing ways to eliminate bullying. Join us in supporting this positivity inside and outside of the classroom.

All Elgin ISD campuses and departments require that masks be worn by adults. While our campus is closed to visitors, there are times when you may find yourself in our building. It may be to drop off a tardy child or bring a change of clothes or pick up your child when they become ill. Whatever the reason, if you are on school grounds and must get out of your car, a mask is required. Our scholars are doing a wonderful job following this expectation and we need your support and participation to help keep our school open.
