           College and Career Guidance

"The best away to predict the future is to create it"

College and Career Guidance (CCG) at Ekya Schools has been set-up to support the institution’s holistic approach towards achieving a full education. Through timely initiatives aimed towards students, teachers and parents, CCG endeavors to ensure high school education with a purpose. Senior school is a crucial time in every student’s academic journey.

We are not only looking to inculcate a competitive spirit for students to do well in examinations but also develop self-awareness and informed decision-making. To ensure this, we work with students from Grade 9 through 12 in a highly focused and diligent manner.

Enrichment Program
"The capacity to learn is a gift, ability to learn is a skill, willingness to learn is a choice"

The Deep Dive Program is a collection of micro courses that students can opt for based on their interest. This Program aims to address the diverse learning interests of students. It provides opportunities to explore and extend their learning in a relevant manner beyond school hours and focuses on building specific skills and interests.

Some of the courses offered in the Past include Slam Poetry, Game Design, Forensic Science, Grow your Garden, You are what you Eat, etc.

School Preparedness Program
"Education begins the moment we see children as innately wise and capable beings. Only then, can we play along in their world"

The School Preparedness Program is designed to benefit all students with reinforcement of concepts in key areas to ensure their success in the next grade for the upcoming year; intended to help reinforce skills and content during the summer months so that our children make positive adjustments in shifting from an online learning environment to an offline or blended mode of learning. Accessible for all students from EY to Grade 8, it is populated with a variety of resources and includes detailed Resource Booklets, Worksheet Packets and multiple fun lessons covering content from the previous grade.

This course will be self-paced and guided by video lessons curated by our very own teachers across campuses. Parent guidance will be required for students in our Early Years Program and Grades 1 and 2 in order to access worksheets and videos.

               Design Thinking
"Children must be taught HOW to think not WHAT to think"

"Design is not what it looks like or feels like, Design is how it works"

Design thinking is an iterative process in which one seeks to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions which are prototyped and tested. The overall goal is to identify alternative strategies and solutions that are not instantly apparent with your initial level of understanding. Design Thinking provides a solution-based approach to solving problems which helps one do so in a creative and collaborative way- opening up entirely new ways to think, a collection of hands-on methods to help you apply this new mindset.
