Jyoti Ratre of Bhopal chapter of Ekal FTS has made us all very proud. She along with 3 others started their expedition to Mt Satopanth (7075 m equivalent to around 23000 ft), a peak in Uttarakhand, India, on 10th August.

Because of bad weather Jyoti had to come back, but the other 3 reached the peak on 26th August. This photograph is of the peak, with Ekal flag, which was given to them by Jyoti.

It may be mentioned that Jyoti is 52 yrs and she started learning mountaineering just 4 years back at the age of 48 years. She has conquered other peaks also and she has vowed to hoist the Ekal flag too at all peaks.
