Planning Guidelines:
Regional President will select the event date and Chapter location from the block of dates assigned to the Region. Weekend events road travel should not be more than 5 hours.
Regional President will select or conform the number of events (shown above) to be performed. Once confirmed, any cancellation of an event will be classified as "no event" instead of changing the entire schedule. Any addition to the events, once scheduled, will have to be managed by the Region within the block of dates assigned to the region.
There will not be any event scheduled during the Memorial Day weekend.
School Spring Break week (March) could impact the audience attendance where the "young adults" attend the event. Please consider this factor in selecting the event dates.
The transportation for kalakars will be by ROAD and arranged by Event Committee. A 20+ sitter van and driver will be arranged which will take the artists and their instruments/personal luggage from one event to next event. Where long distance driving is involved within Region, it should arranged during weekdays. The driving on Friday and Saturday after the event should be limited to less than 5 hours if possible.
There will be 12 kalakars in the group. The Regional President will arrange accommodation like Airbnb with kitchen facility so kalakars can cook. It is preferred that they stay at one place in the Region during weekdays and stay at hotel or volunteer house during weekends if the travelling distance is long from Airbnb house. The kalakars like to cook their own food where possible.
