These guides are designed for quick, practical help. Each section answers one question and gives clear steps you can follow right away without needing to read long explanations.
Sign in to Effect Alpha and access your worker dashboard.
Make sure you have:
Your preferred login method ready (Google, GitHub, or Discord)
Your Alpha access code (first login only)
Go to the worker login page: https://worker.effect.ai
Choose one login method: Google, GitHub, or Discord.
Complete the authorization prompt to sign in.
If this is your first login, enter your Alpha access code when prompted.
You’ll be taken to your worker dashboard and prompted to connect to a manager node.
Use the same login provider every time. Your access and history are tied to the method you choose.
Connect to a manager node so tasks can be routed to you.
Manager nodes coordinate task routing. If you’re not connected, you may appear logged in but won’t receive tasks.
After logging in, look for the yellow button that says ⚡Connect.
Select the available manager node and click 'Connect.'
Once connected, tasks can be routed to your worker node.
If you don’t see a manager node option, refresh the page and try again.
If tasks still don’t appear, check Discord announcements. There may be a testing window or pause.
View tasks routed to you and preview instructions before accepting.
Open your worker dashboard.
Browse the task list. Each task shows the reward amount and time remaining.
Click Preview on a task you’re considering.
The task is shown in a preview state so you can read instructions before committing.
Previewing saves time. If instructions feel unclear, it’s better to reject than guess.
Accept a routed task, complete it, and submit it correctly.
Make sure you can complete the task now.
If a help guide is linked, open it first.
From the dashboard, click Preview.
Read the instructions carefully.
Click Accept when you’re ready to complete it.
Complete the task exactly as instructed.
Review your response before submitting.
Click Submit.
Your submission may go through validation. Rewards may appear after validation depending on the workflow.
If the submit button is unavailable, check if a required field is missing.
If the task times out, return to the dashboard and pick a new one.
Reject a task you’re not able to complete so it can be routed to another worker.
Reject if:
You don’t understand the instructions
You can’t complete it right now
Preview the task.
Click Reject to return it to the pool.
Rejecting after preview is normal. It’s better than submitting low-quality work.
Find and use task help guides when they’re provided.
Open the task instructions.
Look for a link labeled "Help," "Guide," or "Info."
Review examples and edge-case rules.
Return to the task and complete it using the guide standards.
Many validation rules match the help guide exactly.
Your dashboard includes:
Tasks available to you
Your task activity history
EFFECT earned and claim history
Performance score
Capabilities you have, as well as the capabilities marketplace
Your worker node information
Performance score: This is your score for task completion. It calculates the ratio of tasks you have completed to the total number of tasks that were made available to you by the manager node. This is NOT an accuracy or quality score. It improves when you complete tasks routed to you and decreases if tasks expire repeatedly while you remain idle.
Move earned EFFECT into your worker wallet.
You must have:
A Solana worker wallet (created automatically for you by the platform when you made your worker account)
A small amount of SOL in that wallet to cover transaction fees
Go to your dashboard’s rewards or claim area.
Confirm your worker wallet has enough SOL.
Click Claim and follow the prompts.
Wait for confirmation that the transaction is complete.
Your EFFECT will be delivered to your worker wallet.
If claiming is disabled, it may be temporarily paused during Alpha.
If a claim fails, check the SOL balance first.
If you receive an error, open a private support ticket in Discord here.
This is a prerelease build that may change, break, or be reset at any time.
You are solely responsible for any on-chain actions and use of EFFECT tokens.
No restoration or compensation will be provided for loss of tokens, balances, or progress caused by bugs, issues, or resets.
Back up your wallet and keys. Settle and claim your funds as often as possible.
Use one device and one browser only. Switching devices or browsers will reset your profile and progress to zero on the second device or browser.
Do not clear your browser cache or cookies. Clearing them will permanently erase your profile and progress.
Add SOL so you can pay transaction fees when claiming rewards.
Locate your worker wallet address.
Your worker wallet address can be found in the Node Info section labeled as Address.
Send a small amount of SOL from another wallet or exchange directly to your worker wallet address.
Wait for confirmation, then return to claim.
You only need enough SOL to cover small transaction fees.
Your private key is only visible to you. Effect AI cannot recover it if lost.
Open your wallet section in the platform.
Choose Export private key.
Store it securely.
Import into a Solana wallet if desired.
Effect Alpha currently works best when you use one device and one browser consistently.
During Alpha, your worker profile and progress are tied to your active browser environment. Switching devices or browsers can reset your profile and progress on the new device, which may make it appear as though your work history has been lost.
Choose one device and one browser for working in Effect Alpha.
Continue using that same setup for future sessions.
Avoid switching between different browsers or devices while participating in Alpha.
Do not clear your browser cache or cookies while using Effect Alpha. Clearing browser data will permanently erase your local worker profile and progress.
This includes:
Clearing browser cache or cookies
Using private or incognito sessions
Browser resets or reinstallations
Automatic cleanup or privacy extensions
Always treat your browser environment as part of your active workspace during Alpha.
Effect Alpha is currently a pre-release environment. Because the platform is actively being developed and tested, workflows, features, and stored data may change, break, or be reset at any time. Understanding how rewards are stored during Alpha will help you avoid losing earned EFFECT.
Unclaimed EFFECT is stored locally within your active browser environment until you complete the claim process. This means that rewards are not fully secured until they are claimed to your worker wallet.
During Alpha:
Platform updates or resets may occur.
Bugs or unexpected behavior may affect stored balances or progress.
You are responsible for managing and securing your earned rewards.
No restoration or compensation can be provided for loss of tokens, balances, or progress caused by bugs, issues, or system resets.
Following these habits significantly reduces risk:
Claim earned EFFECT frequently instead of leaving balances unclaimed.
Settle and secure funds regularly.
Back up your worker wallet private key and store it safely.
Ensure your worker wallet has enough SOL to complete claim transactions.
Your worker profile and unclaimed rewards are tied to your active browser environment.
Use one device and one browser only.
Switching devices or browsers can reset your profile and progress to zero in the new environment.
Do not clear your browser cache or cookies before claiming your rewards.
Clearing browser data will permanently erase your local profile, progress, and any unclaimed EFFECT stored on that device.
This includes:
Clearing cookies or cache
Using incognito or private browsing sessions
Browser resets or reinstalls
Automatic cleanup or privacy extensions
Always claim your rewards before making any changes to your browser environment.
During Alpha, some data and rewards are stored locally in your browser until claimed.
To avoid permanent loss:
Use one device and one browser consistently.
Claim earned EFFECT regularly.
Do not clear the browser cache or cookies before claiming.
Avoid incognito or private browsing sessions for active work.
Ensure your worker wallet contains enough SOL to complete claim transactions.
Unclaimed rewards may be permanently lost if local browser data is removed or if you switch environments before claiming.
