This section explains how EFFECT rewards work on Effect Alpha, how your worker wallet functions, and how to safely manage your tokens during the Alpha phase.
Understanding how rewards are stored and claimed will help you avoid common issues and protect your progress.
EFFECT is earned by completing tasks that meet platform requirements and pass validation. Rewards reflect successful participation and contribution quality rather than simple task completion alone.
During Alpha, reward behavior may feel different from traditional platforms. Some workflows may require additional review before rewards appear, and timing may vary depending on testing conditions.
Important:
All EFFECT earned during Alpha is real.
Rewards are tied to your worker account and wallet.
Claiming transfers earned EFFECT into your wallet.
Unclaimed rewards are temporarily stored within your active browser environment until you complete the claim process.
This design allows the platform to test workflows without immediately sending every transaction on-chain, which helps reduce costs and allows faster experimentation during Alpha.
However, this also means:
Unclaimed balances exist locally until claimed.
Your browser environment acts as part of your working setup.
Because of this, certain actions can result in permanent loss if rewards are not claimed first.
Claiming moves earned EFFECT from the platform into your worker wallet on the Solana network.
Once claimed:
Tokens are recorded on-chain.
They are no longer dependent on local browser storage.
Make sure:
Your worker wallet exists (created automatically when your account was created).
Your wallet contains a small amount of SOL to cover transaction fees.
SOL is required because all Solana transactions include a network fee. Without SOL, claims cannot be completed.
Claim rewards regularly instead of letting balances accumulate.
Claim at the end of each working session.
Claim before switching devices or browsers.
Claim before clearing browser data.
Frequent claiming reduces risk during Alpha.
When you create an Effect account, a Solana-based worker wallet is automatically generated for you.
This wallet is:
Non-custodial.
Fully controlled by you.
Accessible only with your private key.
Effect AI cannot view or recover your private key. If you lose access to it, recovery is not possible.
You can export your worker wallet’s private key and import it into any compatible Solana wallet.
Best practices:
Back up your private key securely.
Store it offline or in a trusted password manager.
Never share it with anyone.
Anyone with access to your private key can control your funds.
To claim rewards, your worker wallet must hold a small amount of SOL.
SOL is used to:
Pay network transaction fees.
Confirm blockchain transactions.
You do not need a large amount of SOL. A small balance is sufficient for claims.
During Alpha:
Your worker profile is tied to one browser environment.
Use one device and one browser consistently.
Switching devices or browsers may reset your profile and progress in the new environment.
Do not clear your browser cache or cookies before claiming rewards.
Clearing browser data can permanently remove:
Local profile data
Unclaimed rewards
Progress stored in the current environment
Always claim before making any changes to your browser setup.
Effect Alpha is a pre-release environment.
This means:
Features may change, break, or reset at any time.
Bugs or updates may affect balances or progress.
You are responsible for managing your wallet and on-chain actions.
No restoration or compensation can be provided for loss caused by:
Platform resets
Bugs
Clearing browser data
Switching devices improperly
If you experience issues:
Check Discord announcements for known updates or maintenance.
Confirm your wallet has enough SOL.
Verify you are using the same browser and device.
If problems persist, contact support through Discord.
Local reward storage allows rapid experimentation during Alpha without requiring constant blockchain transactions. This helps the team test workflows quickly while maintaining real token ownership once claims are completed.
