Effect Alpha Documentation

Effect Alpha is a microtasking platform where human workers and AI workflows collaborate to create and validate datasets. Tasks are routed dynamically based on capabilities and availability rather than displayed in a static job list.

Because this is an Alpha phase, the platform is actively evolving. You may see new workflows appear, task availability fluctuate, or instructions change as we refine the experience.

This is normal. Your participation helps shape how decentralized human-AI collaboration works.

If you just received access, follow this sequence.

Step 1: Log In and Set Up Your Account

• Go to https://worker.effect.ai/

• Choose one login method and continue using it consistently.

• Enter your Alpha access code.

• Connect to a manager node when prompted.

Step 2: Understand How Tasks Work

Before accepting your first task, take a moment to understand how task routing behaves.

Unlike traditional platforms:

• Tasks may appear and disappear quickly.

• Availability changes frequently.

• Not seeing tasks does not mean something is wrong.

Step 3: Complete Your First Task

When you see a task:

1. Preview it first.

2. Review the instructions.

3. Accept only if you feel confident completing it. Rejecting a task is OK, especially if it doesn't seem like a task you can provide high-quality results for.

Previewing prevents most early mistakes.

Rewards behave differently during Alpha.

Key things to know:

• Your worker wallet is created automatically.

• You must add a small amount of SOL to claim rewards.

• Claim frequently to avoid issues.

Effect Alpha uses capability-based routing instead of open task lists. This allows tasks to be matched more intelligently but can feel unfamiliar at first.

Some things that may seem unusual:

• Tasks disappearing quickly

• Periods without visible tasks

• Frequent updates or new workflows

These are expected during Alpha testing.

• Preview tasks before accepting them.

• Claim rewards at the end of each session.

• Never clear browser data before claiming.

• Keep a small amount of SOL in your wallet.

• Check Discord announcements regularly.
