Welcome Back

We hope you have a had a super Christmas holiday and are ready to tackle the challenges of the Spring Term! We have started the term well in Mrs Reynolds' maths group by experiencing different weights and measures. We used rulers, trundle wheels, scales and measuring cylinders to estimate and measure lengths, weights and capacity around the classroom. We even measured the playgound!

Geography

In Geography, we have been looking at the continents. we have learned that the world is divided into lines of Longitude and Latitude. We have been using these coordinates to locate countries around the world.

We were very fortunate today to have the instructors in from Elite Training to teach us how to defend ourselves. We learned how to use a commanding voice to say 'Leave me alone! and how to defend and then move back. It was very useful and we now have the opportunity to have a free introduction class with the leaflet we have taken home.
