Year 1 had a fantastic time during our 'pirates' topic. We read pirate stories, wrote messages in bottles and even followed a map to find pirate treasure. We also did a super Science investigation to find out whether items float or sink so we could help our pirate friends build a boat. Then we used Mini Mash to turn ourselves into pirates and wrote down what a pirate might say.
