The children really enjoyed taking part in our very first Yoga lesson today.
They were brilliant at following the moves and keeping still to hold their position.
We have been busy practising our fine motor skills by threading pasta onto pipe cleaners and making caterpillars. We also decided to make bracelets. They looked fabulous!
As part of our 'Fantastic Food' topic we explored with frozen veggies today!

We have been trying lots of new and delicious fruit. Please have a look at our bar chart to see which fruit we voted for as our absolute favourite. A few of us could not decide, there were too many to choose. We hope you enjoy looking at our results.
The children enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year and were lucky enough to watch a real Lion dance.
Back in the classrooms they made their own Chinese Dragon masks and recreated the dance using drums.

On Monday we tasted lots of foods from the story.
We are learning about healthy and unhealthy foods.
Artwork using dried foods such as pasta, rice and lentils.
The children really enjoyed making sandwiches on Wednesday!
They had to be careful and spread their chosen topping with their knife.
We used sauces to paint on Thursday.
We used ketchup, mustard and brown sauce to create scented caterpillars!
We voted and will turn the results into a bar chart in Maths.
We tried blueberries, pineapple, mango, kiwi, olives, beetroot and cherry tomatoes.

In PE we have been moving in response to pieces of music.
This week our theme was under the sea.
