Welcome to the Spring term! This half term we have lots going on, including getting prepared for our play: The Jungle Book. 

A sneak peak...

We've been busy bees practising for our Jungle Book play! We have a dress rehearsal to the school next week and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 12th Feb (2:00pm) and Tuesday 13th Feb (2:00pm & 7pm). Here's a sneak peak of our rehearsals...

Beware...The Jabberwock, my son!

In English this week we have been learning all about Lewis Carroll's gibberish poem, The Jabberwocky. We noticed that there were many nonsense words in it (how strange!), and we created some of our own using portmanteau... A Rabbitrength (combining rabbit and strength) is one example. Picture a large, mythical rabbit!! Here's a few pictures of us listening and watching the poem - we found it quite hilarious!
